Why Cordiel
What Sets Our Reading Approach Apart
Cordiel programmes are designed around what adults actually need from educational reading — structured material, substantive discussion, and clear boundaries.

Six Reasons Adults Choose Cordiel
Each point below reflects a deliberate choice we made about how reading programmes for adults should work.
Printed Reader-First Format
Every programme begins with a printed reader distributed in advance. The printed format is deliberate — it slows reading down and supports genuine retention.
- Pre-session reading with structured prompts
- Materials kept after the programme ends
Small Cohort Discussions
Between 6 and 12 participants per cohort. Sized so that every participant can speak, question, and explore ideas at a pace that suits them.
- Pair discussion for reflective exercises
- Facilitator-guided group reading conversation
Strictly Educational Scope
No advice. No product mentions. No soft-selling. Cordiel holds a clear line between educational content and regulated advisory activity — and maintains it in every session.
- Facilitators trained on scope boundaries
- No third-party referrals or commercial arrangements
Singapore-Specific Vocabulary
Readers are written around Singapore's household planning context — CPF Life, SRS, HDB-adjacent documentation, and the vocabulary used by local qualified professionals.
- Updated annually for vocabulary changes
- No generic international content
Working Adult Scheduling
Weekend workshops and evening series — designed around professional lives, not around academic calendars. Sessions run at considered pacing with no attendance pressure.
- Saturday morning and weekday evening options
- Central Singapore location at Prudential Tower
Accessible Programme Fees
Programmes are priced to be accessible, with all materials included. From a single four-session series at S$160 to a comprehensive weekend workshop at S$870 — all materials included.
- All printed materials included in fee
- No hidden costs or upselling

The Cordiel Approach
What Makes Cordiel Distinctive
Features You Will Not Find Elsewhere
In-House Written Readers
Cordiel writes its own reading materials. Nothing is licensed from a third party or adapted from a generic curriculum. Every reader is written for our specific adult Singapore audience.
Vocabulary-Card Format
Alongside every reader, participants receive a vocabulary card — a compact, durable reference to the key terms covered. Designed to be kept in a wallet or notebook for ongoing reference.
Annual Content Review
All readers are reviewed each year and updated when Singapore planning structures, terminology, or documentation change. Participants from earlier cohorts may request updated vocabulary cards.
Post-Programme Reflection Circle
The Long-Term Planning Workshop includes access to a follow-up reflection circle — a single additional session held approximately four weeks after the workshop for participants who want to return to the reading with fresh questions.
